I agree with almost everything you wrote. I've heard the same things just worded different.I agree in song structure, but these structures can make you write without change Audioslave's to be yourself is a good example of mixing things up,and it worked.

When I write a song and finish the lyrics I'll try it in different structures or add a little before a musical break in the sing.I hope I,m thinking outside the box somewhat.If I decide on using a lot of imagery in a song I like to be creative in structure
